Since 1998

Complete Business Solutions Australia originated in 1998 with five principals dedicated to integrity and excellence in economic and financial consulting.
 
Through gaining experience in various economic periods, our team are able to identify the best opportunities whether we are in good times or bad times. Good times provide growth in our portfolio and bad times, despite the potential negative effects, can provide opportunities.

We see ourselves as a forward looking group of passionate property professionals with the relevant experience to match.

Gavin Stead
Managing Director

Areas of expertise

  • Developing and managing business plans, and monitoring implementation.
  • Developing company policies.
  • Developing strategic plans.

Education

  • Masters of Business – Melbourne Institute of Advanced Management 
  • Graduate Certificate of Business – Swinburne University
  • Diploma of Business – Sydney International School of Business

With a wealth of experience as a Director in different sectors, including The Arts, Education and Finance, Gavin easily identifies opportunities for the business and works effectively with board members to achieve outcomes. 

Wi Zhang
Chief Finance Officer

Areas of expertise

  • Financial planning.
  • Managing the finance and accounting team.
  • Providing the executive leadership with expert financial advice and proposing new financial strategies.
  • Producing the company’s financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

Education

Wi enjoys her role in assisting management to achieve the business goals, through sound financial decisions. 

Con Kafatos
IT Manager

Areas of expertise

  • Managing information technology and computer systems
  • controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations
  • Ensuring data security , network access and implementing backup systems
  • Identifying problematic areas and developing strategic solutions

Education

  • Bachelor of Computer Science RMIT Melbourne

As a member of the Australian Computer Society, Con relishes being at the forefront of new technological advances and brings this wealth of information to his role. 

Glenda Williams
HR Manager

  • Coaching and supporting managers to manage workplace conflict and actively building awareness on workplace bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination
  • Monitoring staff and managers’ adherence to all company policies and procedures

Glenda has worked within small and large organisations. Throughout her career she has continued to attend professional events and professional development sessions which has led to her being highly sought after for this role. CBSA clients are fortunate to have such an experienced staff member.

Henry Thomas
Operations Manager

  • Managing a wide range of corporate governance requirements including coordination of client’s risk, policy and compliance frameworks
  • Working with diverse industries including Accounting, Education and Logistics

 Henry brings a wealth of experience from Australia and overseas. He has worked in management positions for over twenty years. Henry attributes his success to his belief in seven qualities:- discipline, transparency, independence, accountability, responsibility, fairness and social justice. 

Tina Hughes
Sales and Marketing Manager

Areas of expertise

  • Formulating and implementing policies and plans for advertising, public relations, sales and marketing in consultation with other managers.

  • Strategic planning, leadership and coordinating people and resources

  • Directing sales methods and policies by co-ordinating the work of salespersons

After completing her Diploma of Marketing and Communication, Tina has worked for medium sized business’ and met or exceeded their expectations. Tina completed her Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication after she started at CBSA and has been able to implement learnings into her work practices. 

Steve Alfonso
Training Manager

  • Bachelor of Training and Development New England University 

Steve has five years experience in a Training Manager role, especially the coordination of education and training programs and the development of online learning. He continues to build on his knowledge base as he feels very committed to the education and training industry. 

Trish Gibbons
Accounts Officer

  • Budget forecasting

Education

  • Bachelor or Business – Lynwood business School

With over 10 years experience in accounting Trish ensures that client’s financial reporting is accurate as well as analysing other fiscal activities to ensure they comply with accounting and legal requirements.
